Founder, President & CEO Inez Whitlow
It was life experiences and a passion for helping others that fueled the driving force to create an organization that specialized in the mental, physical and emotional healing for teens or women facing one of the most difficult choices – an unplanned pregnancy. Inez Whitlow is the “chick in charge” – the glue and the face of the organization. She offers hope for the many teens and women she meets daily and collaborates with other agencies to make sure all our clients’ needs are met. She is a licensed and bonded adoption facilitator in Sacramento, CA, with a BS in Paralegal Studies On any given day, you can find her taking several clients to a doctor’s appointment, lab work completed, counseling, court, grocery shopping, being a labor coach and looking for a place to live! She can average 5000 miles a month taking our clients’ to their appointments. She currently lives in Elk Grove California and is the mother of 4 amazing children.
Director of Operations, Marya Cooley
With over 25 years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing, employee management and training, Marya joined Chicks in Crisis in September of 2019. She is highly energetic and feels a deep connection with the mission and purpose of CiC. Marya’s focus as the Director of Operations & Marketing Strategy is to implement and drive new directives for organizational growth and prosperity, manage the daily operations, create more efficient processes, expand fundraising and grow the donor population.
On a personal note, Marya has 3 little girls and loves to cook, bake and travel. She is also on the Board at Ascension Christian Preschool where she serves as the member in charge of fundraising, marketing and social media.
Event Assistant, Rachel Williams
Rachel Williams is one of CiC’s Event Assistants and helps with the many events at the CiC Ranch. Rachel has her Associates degree in Administrative of Justice and Sociology and is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree. She enjoys helping others and loves being part of an organization that strives to make a difference. She likes spending her time engaging in outdoor activities and being a mom.
